Why Watches

Software hides. You can ship something that mostly works, and nobody sees the seam until it fails in production six weeks later.

A movement doesn’t let you do that. Hundreds of parts, no abstraction layer, and it either keeps time or it does not. Nothing has taught me more about finishing a job properly.
